As a Stake Relief Society Presidency we feel strongly about members and friends being prepared in the case of an emergency. We post this shelf stable recipe in hopes that it helps you work on your food storage and get ideas of what can realistically be made with the food that you store.
2 Cans of Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Kraft is shelf stable)
Salt, Pepper, Garlic to taste
1 lb Fettuccine or any noodles you have on hand
1 can of Chicken (optional)
Directions:
Place 1 can of evaporated milk in saucepan. Heat on low. While this is slowly warming, cook noodles according to package directions. Slowly add cheese to milk and stir with a whisk. Add salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. If too thick add more evaporated milk. Add chicken if desired. Serve sauce over noodles and enjoy!
